Since the terrain can be hard and the days long, hikers on these treks should be in good physical condition and have some previous mountain walking experience. Steep climbing may be involved, although it is never necessary to use ropes. Treks at this level can he arranged for periods of 16 to 21 days. Typically, a gradual ascent through a green river valley will lead you up to a number of high passes, where you will reach the altitude of 5416m. Often times, you will get a close insight into the Tibetan culture. Participants should expect to trek above 5416m/17872ft.

Beni to Ghorepani -Annapurna Base Camp

Beni to Ghorepani ABC, from Poon Hill and continue to Annapurna Base Camp trek is clock way and adventure trekking of Annapurna region, it combines so much different landscapes and bring you so close to the base of 7,000 and 8,000 meter peaks in a such a short period of time frame, The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the most popular treks in the Annapurna region.

The trail goes alongside terraced rice paddies, lush rhododendron forests and high altitude landscapes with the Annapurna Range in view most of the times. The setting of Annapurna Base Camp at 4130 m is unique and incredibly spectacular, set amidst the majestic peaks of Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Machapuchhre (6993 m) and Hiunchuli (6441 m). The Annapurna Base Camp Trek takes 7 to 12 days, depending on your itinerary and length of walking days. The itinerary presented here takes 14 days, starting from Beni (3-hour drive from Pokhara) and going east up to Ghorepani and the famous viewpoint at Poon Hill.

From Beni to Ghorepani ABC, you go East-West to Chomrong and then north again entering the Modi Khola Valley which leads up to the Annapurna Base Camp. Many people trek the circuit Nayapul-Ghorepani-Ghandruk-Nayapul, which is very rewarding in itself.  but also Beni to Ghorepani  ABC is more Kali Gandaki rivers view and Jomsom valley views discovery and easily be done with children as well. You can return via Jhinu Danda and give your tired muscles a well-deserved rest in the delightful hot springs. Upon your return, it is worthwhile visiting one of the Gurung villages of Ghandruk or Landruk. The lodges in the Annapurna Trekking Region are well equipped with extensive menus ranging from the typical Nepali Dal bath (rice with lentils) to pizza and noodles. Hot showers are readily available as well. If you are planning to trek in the winter months please check with a travel agency to confirm which lodges are open.

Annapurna Base Camp is easily accessible with different trailheads starting just an hour or two away from Pokhara too. so Between Himalayan Hotel and Machapucchre Base Camp, there is a risk of avalanches so make sure you have the latest information on trail conditions before setting off or hire a knowledgeable guide. The Annapurna Base Camp Trek can easily be done independently. It is possible to do this trek in all seasons; however, in the winter the Base Camp can sometimes be closed due to the snow level. In spring time the huge rhododendron forests are in full bloom which gives the trek an extra appeal.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrive international airport in Kathmandu, transport to selected hotel at Thamel, The hotel is centrally located in the Thamel area of Kathmandu which is renowned for its many restaurants, shops, bars, and nightclubs etc which cater for the tourists.
  • Day 02: Kathmandu Valley world heritage site full day sightseeing with professional tour guide, At evening Check trekking list and make last preparation, arrange your trekking bag and your belonging that will store in the hotel.
  • Day 03: Drive to Pokhara (200 km. 5/6 hours driving) by tourist bus at 7:00 am from Kantipath. And stay overnight at selected hotel nearby Lakeside.
  • Day 04: Drive to Beni Tatopani and trek to Shikha, overnight at lodge,
  • Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2853 meters. 6/7 hours walking) stay overnight at lodge.
  • Day 06: Visit Poon Hill early in the morning (45 minutes to get at the top for the best sunrise view and mountains, trek to Tadapani (1920 meters. 5 hours walking) stay overnight at lodge.
  • Day 07: Trek to Chhomrong (1920 meters. 5 hours walking) stay overnight at lodge.
  • Day 08: Trek to Dovan (5 hours walking) 2505 meters Stay overnight at lodge.
  • Day 09: Trek to MBC (3700 meters 4/5 hours walking) Stay overnight at lodge.
  • Day 10: Trek to ABC (4130 meters. 2/3 hours walking) trek back to Deurali stay overnight at lodge.
  • Day 11: Trek back to Ghandrung(5 hours walking) stay overnight at lodge.
  • Day 12: Trek back to Naya Pul (7 hours walking) drive to Pokhara stay overnight at selected hotel at Pokhara.
  • Day 13: Drive to Kathmandu (200 km. 6/7 hours driving) by tourist bus at 7:30 am from Pokhara. And stay overnight at selected hotel in Kathmandu
  • Day 14: Departure to International Airport to fly your home country. we will provide you transport to international Tribhuvan airports.
