I am Hari Gurung, coming from the picturesque village of Golphu Bhanjyang in Ward No. 5 of the Helambu Rural Municipality in Sindhupalchok District. Since 1996, I have been immersed in the majestic Himalayan mountains of Nepal, working as a mountain trekking guide. I started my journey in the industry as a porter and eventually transitioned into becoming a certified guide. Over the years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with several trekking agencies, and since 2011, I have proudly been a part of the Nepal Wilderness Trekking Agency.

As an experienced trekking and tour guide, I hold a certified government-trained license. My specialization lies in leading treks and tours to Nepal’s most popular destinations. Growing up in a remote village myself, I have gained profound knowledge and understanding of the Himalayas. Fluent in English, I take immense pleasure in guiding trekkers and sharing with them the stunning scenery, as well as providing insights into our diverse cultures, religions, customs, caste history, and environmental concerns. By delving into these aspects, I aim to help trekkers develop a deeper appreciation for the new world they are entering.
