Trip Terms & Conditions
Nepal Wilderness Trekking team is dedicated to providing the most satisfying and safest service possible to its customers. Also, it’s a Nepalese government-registered company. The main objective of our company is to provide the best possible quality for the customers so they can have the most memorable moments in Nepal when they visit us. Please review the following requirements and conditions carefully before booking your trip with us.
- A photocopy of your passport.
- Passport size picture of you.
- A 25% deposit of the total cost of the trip.
General booking conditions:
If you cancel the trip, there will be no refund of the 25% deposit. However, if the client decides to spend 25% on another trekking trip for a period of one year after the payment date, then Nepal Wilderness trekking Pvt has that facility for our valuable customers. And he or she can pay the rest when they arrive at the destination. In addition, we accept last-minute bookings. It is recommended that the client book their trip to Nepal at least 2 weeks before the departure date of the trip.
Method of payment:
The client has the option of paying either through a wire transfer or via a credit card. Extra charges from the bank are the responsibility of the client, and the total trip price does not include those charges. As an example, the credit card payment processing fee adds an extra 4% on top of the payment. Also, we will send you a confirmation email once we have received the total payment or the deposit. For online payments, please click here and fill out the form.
Risks and liabilities:
There are no exceptions to the laws and regulations of the Nepal Tourism Board. In the case of unforeseen circumstances, such as changes in the laws and regulations of the country, natural disasters, political instability, cancellations of flights, delays, sickness, etc. the Nepal Wilderness trekking Pvt will not be responsible for any extra fees for the clients. In this respect, travel insurance is highly recommended. Also, if the client breaks any regulation or law during their tour, and they are forced to leave Nepal, the tour fees are non-refundable.
Postponing the trip:
A client who wishes to postpone a tour must write a notice and send it to us 15 days before the departure date of the tour. However, they will have to pay 150$ as cancellation fees, but we will reduce this amount from 25% and the rest balance will be accounted for on their next trip with us if they catch up within a year.
Trip cancellation policy:
The 25% deposit is non-refundable according to our terms and conditions. Thus, we strongly recommend that the client postpone their trip rather than cancel it if they have to cancel the trip. In addition, the trip cost is non-refundable after the payment if the client decides to cancel in the middle of the trip for personal reasons. Nevertheless, in the event that we have to cancel the tour due to unexpected circumstances such as natural disasters, wars, or unfavorable climate conditions, we will arrange another one for them.
It is mandatory to have travel insurance before embarking on one of our tours that covers all medical expenses, accidents, emergency evacuations, loss or damage to gear, and natural disasters. For this reason, we recommend the World nomad insurance agency.
Flight delay or cancellation:
In many remote regions, such as the Everest region, the Annapurna region, the Dolpo, Simikot, and Jumla regions, bad weather can cause flight delays or cancellations. Therefore, we advise our clients to have additional money in order to pay for their food and accommodation during their trip. In addition, the Nepal wilderness trekking team is not responsible for any additional expenses that may arise.
Please note that our terms and conditions apply only if a client books their trip directly with us. Nevertheless, if they book their trip with us through any agents or third parties, they are responsible for following the terms and conditions of those third parties.
