Trip Facts

Duration : 3 Days Max-Altitude : 1600 Program Type : Tea House Best Season : 12 Months Per Day Walking : 5.6 Trek Grade : Grade 2:

These treks are suitable for any walker looking for something a little more challenging and energetic. They are a combination of some longer and shorter walks and hill-walking experience is desirable. The duration is usually from 10 to 15 days. Following the up and down terrain of Nepal and walking to higher elevations contrasts these treks to those in the easy classification. However, you will be rewarded for your efforts with spectacular close-up views of glaciers and of the high Himalayas. Although the terrain is not difficult, some vigorous hiking experience is useful. There may be up to 6 hours a day on the trail and the elevation rises and falls from 800m/ 2624ft to 4000m/13210ft above sea level.

Overview

Dhampus Sarangkot Short Trek

The Dhampus Sarankot Trek is located in the lower part of the Annapurna Region near Pokhara City. This is the easiest and most comfortable trek for people of all ages. Dhampus is the largest Gurung village with traditional Gurung culture villages; the Dhampus village is the gateway to both the Annapurna Base Camp trek and the Mardi Himal trek. From the hill station of Dhampus Sarangkot Trek, one can witness both sunrise and sunset within the majestic Himalayas in the north. The trek takes you through picturesque middle hill villages of different ethnicities, considered one of the most scenic and easiest short treks in the area. As you walk up in line wearing a veil in the endless snow-capped ever-smiling tower, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the changing color of the tower, explore the local culture, and discover their traditional customs.

This is a particularly rewarding hike in the morning for panoramic views of the Himalayas from Dhampus. Most trekkers visit the Australian camp from Dhampus in the morning for the scenery, and it’s just a 30-minute hike.

Dhampus Sarangkot trek 2 nights 3 days is It is possible to observe the fascinating culture and customs of the communities of Nepal’s western mid-hills during the Dahampus Sarangkot Trek or Sarangkot Hiking. The village of Inhabitantampus has slate-roofed houses, paved courtyards, and a Buddhist monastery. This trip offers a unique opportunity to become acquainted with Nepal’s mountain scenery and ethnic culture within a short amount of time. The spectacular mountain scenery; Machhapuchre Mt.
