Our Story
Nepal Wilderness Trekking was founded in 2011 by Himal Ghale, a veteran government-licensed trekking guide with over two decades of experience in Nepal’s rugged mountain trails. Inspired by his deep love for nature and a desire to support local communities, Himal turned his passion into a purpose-driven trekking agency. Since then, we’ve grown into a trusted local company renowned for personalized service, deep regional expertise, and ethical tourism practices.
What started as a one-man mission has now become a well-established agency helping thousands of trekkers from around the world discover Nepal’s hidden wonders, far beyond the beaten path.

We are proud to announce that we have a well-working team of 38 male guides and 16 female guides with Nepal Wilderness Trekking Agency. Each guide is a government license holder and has received extensive training in rescue operations, wilderness first aid, map navigation, and photography. Our team consists of experienced professionals dedicated to ensuring your trek is safe, enjoyable, and memorable. All our guides have many years of experience in the Himalayas and possess a deep knowledge of the local terrain and culture. Each member is committed to providing you with the highest level of service and support.
