Mohare Danda Khopra 9 days Treks

The Mohare Danda and Khopra Trek is a combination trek that combines the stunning views of Mohare Danda with the lesser-known Khopra Ridge trek. This trek takes you through the beautiful Annapurna region of Nepal, offering spectacular mountain views and cultural experiences along the way.

The trek offers a close-up view of the western Himalayan range from two hidden vantage points. It also promotes community treks in Nepal. Furthermore, not only are there two viewpoints but there are numerous viewpoints along the trekking trail. This is one of the reasons why the Mohare Danda Khopra Community Trek makes this package so special. This is the trek for those seeking a less strenuous and easier trek. In addition, this trek offers you the opportunity to visit Beni Bazaar and hike through the stunning Annapurna region Ghorepani Poon Hill of western Nepal, which has all the necessary properties that make it one of the world’s premier trekking destinations.

The Mohare Danda Khopra Trek is a Community Trek that drives begin from Pokhara city to Beni Bazaar, from where the trekking portion begins. The first trek we will track is for Mohare Danda since the trek package combines two awesome destinations. There are frequent ascending and descending trails. The route will take us through numerous villages, tiny settlements, ridges, valleys, and most of the time forests. While on the trek, we will stay in community lodges and homestays. Mohare Danda Khopra Trek is often considered an alternative to Ghorepani Poon hill Trek as the trail diverts from the main path. However, the trek, in general, takes you much higher than the latter one, allowing you to witness a breathtaking view of the Himalayas from Khopra Danda. In addition to that, trekkers can also visit Poonhill and Mohare Danda, which are also worthwhile viewpoints to visit while trekking through the Annapurna region.

Mohare Danda Khopra Community Trek is a moderately rated trek. The trek takes at least 5-6 hours of walking through the ascending and descending off-road trails at high altitudes. This trekking is best done during the months of Summer, Autumn, Spring, September, October, November, December, March, April, and May. However, it can be enjoyed all year round. As we climb up Khopra Danda, we will day hike to Khayar Lake at 4660m and back to Khopra Danda for the night. This is a hidden lake at the foothills of Annapurna South. After Khopra Danda trek back to Ghandruk village via Dobato, Tadapani. This is another popular destination. It is known for its beauty and panoramic views. Residents of the Gurung community live in this village. We hiked down to Nayapul via Birethanti the next morning after spending the night in Ghandruk. We will drive back to Pokhara and end our Mohare Danda Khopra Community package trek.
