Langtang trek, popularly known as “the valley of glaciers trek” located only 19 miles north of Kathmandu will allow you observe the gigantic snow-capped mountains and stunning glaciers and one of the best-selling package of Nepal Wilderness Trekking Company. The entire valley is subjugated by Mount Langtang Lirung (7246m). Along with the magnificent view of the valley of Langtang, Langtang trek will offer a chance to see the high mountain lakes at Gosainkunda, the beautiful Helambu Valley, the attractive Langtang National park and then trek to the breathtaking ice flutes of Gyangchempo.
Offering pine forest, beautiful mountain streams, rugged rock and snow-capped peaks, grassy down and meadows to see, Langtang trekking will give an opportunity to walk through the area of Langtang National parks established in 1976 to preserve the unique flora and fauna of the region. There are chances of seeing some interesting animals and birds. One of the endangered animal red pandas is found in this protected area. Also, the park is home for Himalayan black bear, snow leopard, wild dog, ghoral, and more than 250 species of birds. Talking about fauna, sal, different species of rhododendron, Nepalese alder, chirpine, oak forest, silver fir, hemlock, larch, birch and many more floras will be noticeable during the trekking.
From Langtang village, we will move to Kyangjin Gompa (3,740 m). From Kyangjin Gompa, you will be passing through the fields of Langsisa (4.084 m) which provides the excellent views of abundant glaciers. Then, following the Trishuli River, we travel through Dhunche to Syabrubensi, a Sherpa village and subsequently swing east into the Langtang valley. We pass through oak and rhododendron forests and even traverse glacial moraine on our way to the Tamang village of Langtang region.
On our return, the team of Nepal Wilderness Trekking travel through Syabru and Sing Gompa to a highland, where the sacred lake Gosainkunda is located. And passing through the Laurebena Pass (4610m), we continue south, leaving the Langtang region behind us as we travel through the Helambu valley to Gul Bhanjyang. From here it’s just a few days trek back to Kathmandu.
Climbing permits require for Langtang Tserkuri Peak?
Langtang Tserkuri Peak is trekking peak can summit without climbing permits, only you need Trekking Permits Langtang National Park Permits and Trekking information management system (TIMS) permits which are we do provide from Nepal Wilderness Trekking Agency in our inclusive cost. We have two type of Peak In Nepal, which is below 6 thousand metres peak for those peak no need climbing permits But which is more than 6 thousand metres high peaks then require climbing permits with expedition well arrangement.
Trails to Langtang Trekking
The trails to Langtang Trek, Most of the trails that we follow are centuries old. Because of the rugged nature of the Himalayas, there is more exposure to heights as the grade is steeper and the trek follows Langtang Valley Rivers where is bridges, as the trails follow often along riversides. The bridges are constructed with cables wire and iron box, and plank and are strong enough for heavily laden pack animals.
Day 01: Arrive international airport in Kathmandu and free transport to Thamel, The hotel is centrally located in the Thamel area of Kathmandu which is renowned for its many restaurants, shops, bars, and nightclubs etc which cater for the tourists.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley full day sightseeing with professional tour guide.
Day 03: Drive by local bus from Kathmandu to the starting point of trekking Dhunche (8 hours 170 km 1960 m.) stay there overnight at the lodge.
Day 04: Trek to Syabru Village (6 hours 2250 m.) stay overnight at the lodge.
Day 05: Trek to Lama Hotel (6 hours 2470 m) and stay overnight at the lodge.
Day 06: Trek to Langtang (6 hours 3430 m.) and stay overnight at lodge.
Day 07: Trek to Kyanjine Gomba (3 hours 3870 m.) take a lunch at the tea house and walk up to the viewpoint Kyanjin Ri then stays there overnight at the lodge.
Day 08: Day trip to Langsisha kharka or tserku RI ( 4100 meters.) then walk back to Kyanjin Ri stay overnight at the lodge.
Day 09: Trek back to Lama Hotel (6 hours) stay overnight at the lodge.
Day 10: Trek to Syabru Bensi (5 hours walking) and stay overnight at the lodge.
Day 11: Drive by local bus back to Kathmandu (9 hours 200 Km.)

Equipment for Langtang Trekking
Recheck your Equipment after planning to Langtang Trekking. Make sure you have enough gear to be warm and comfortable but without overloading. Usually you will experience warm days and cold nights depending on altitude and the time of year, For footwear, best walking boots with suitable ankle support that have been worn-in prior to the trek, and which are waterproof, warm socks, Gaiters for winter season, loose casual trousers, Thermal Leggings, Long skirt for women, trousers, and Waterproof Trousers. For body Selection of T-shirts, and long sleeved shirts, preferably not cotton, Thermal shirt, warm shirt, possibly Fleece, Fleece jacket or warm wool jumper. Windproof, waterproof outer higher altitudes, Down jacket, down sleeping bag (optional for cold nights & mornings; can be hired or buy in Kathmandu cheaply) and for head and hand, Wool or fleece hat, or balaclava. Hat or cap for sun protection while trekking, Sunglasses or goggles, Warm gloves, sun cream.
