Since the terrain can be hard and the days long, hikers on these treks should be in good physical condition and have some previous mountain walking experience. Steep climbing may be involved, although it is never necessary to use ropes. Treks at this level can he arranged for periods of 16 to 21 days. Typically, a gradual ascent through a green river valley will lead you up to a number of high passes, where you will reach the altitude of 5416m. Often times, you will get a close insight into the Tibetan culture. Participants should expect to trek above 5416m/17872ft.

Mardi Himal is located just east of most famous trekking destination of Annapurna Trekking Region – newly opened tea house trails trekking, Mardi Himal trek is the best destination to avoid the crowded of Annapurna base camp, Ghorepani – Poon Hill and circuit. Mardi Himal Trek is called hidden treasure trek too.

Mardi Himal Trek offers imaging view of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchre lamjung Himal, Mala Himal and Manaslu ranges, Mardi Himal Base Camp is 4500 meters above sea level, Mardi trekking start from Pokhara drive to Dhanush Phedi and trek to Potana and continues trek to Forest Camp, low camp, high camp and Mardi base camp, back from Mardi Base camp is not same trails, its go to  Siding village, Lumre and drive back to Pokhara.

Type of Meal at Mardi Himal Tea Houses

The Type of Meals at Mardi Himal area tea houses trekking is menu system each and every lodge, but Note that the meals are really organic and hygienic from villages even though less verify Menu than Annapurna base camp. Each and every lodge cooks fresh meals after order, lunch dinner and breakfast.

Physical Conditions

Mardi Himal trek is very suitable for beginner to advanced trekkers who have the ability to walk 5-6 hours per day by carrying a light private backpack. Altitude sickness is exceptional for this trip but sometimes walking in an altitude may occur unexpected sickness, slow rhythm walk would be the perfect solution.

Equipment do we Need For Mardi Trek

The equipment requires for Mardi Himal Trek, a pair best walking boots with suitable ankle support that have been worn-in prior to the trek, and which are waterproof, warm socks, Gaiters for the winter season, Loose, casual trousers, Thermal Leggings, a Long skirt for women as an alternative to trousers, Waterproof trousers. For body Selection of T-shirts, and long sleeved shirts, preferably not cotton, Thermal shirt, warm shirt, possibly Fleece, Fleece jacket or warm wool jumper. Windproof, waterproof outer higher altitudes, Down jacket (optional for cold nights & mornings; can be hired in Kathmandu cheaply) and for head and hand, Wool or fleece hat, or balaclava. There is Annapurna Conservations Area Project (ACAP) permits and trekking information management system (TIMS) Permits required for the Mardi Himal Trekking which is including in our package trip.

  • Day 01: Arrive international airport in Kathmandu, transport to selected hotel at Thamel 3 srat category.

  • Day 05: Trek to Forest Camp at Kokar (2,600m)- 4 hours walking stay overnight at lodge
  • Day 06: Trek to Low Camp (3,150m) - 5 hours trekking stay overnight at lodge
  • Day 07: Trek to High Camp (3,700m)- 4 hours trekking stay overnight at lodge
  • Day 08: Excursion to Mardi Himal area (4,500m)- 4 hours Trekking
  • Day 09: Trek to Siding village (1,750m) -6 hours walking Stay overnight at lodge
