Since the terrain can be hard and the days long, hikers on these treks should be in good physical condition and have some previous mountain walking experience. Steep climbing may be involved, although it is never necessary to use ropes. Treks at this level can he arranged for periods of 16 to 21 days. Typically, a gradual ascent through a green river valley will lead you up to a number of high passes, where you will reach the altitude of 5416m. Often times, you will get a close insight into the Tibetan culture. Participants should expect to trek above 5416m/17872ft.

Lawudo Gompa is Situated high in the Himalayan mountains in the area known as Solu Khumbu, the Sherpa home region of eastern part of Nepal, Lawudo nestles against the side of the mountain like a beacon for all who seek an authentic, blessed and naturally mystical place. Known as the Cave of Blissful Attainments, it is one of the many sacred places of this region. Discovered by the previous Lawudo Lama Kunsang Yeshe and empowered by the blessings of a lifetime of pure Dharma practice, it is the original home of the incomparably kind Guru Lama Zopa Rinpoche. Just seeing the place blesses and transforms the most hardened of hearts and minds to think only of Dharma in one’s life.

This extremely beautiful and fascinating region is considered to be a hidden valley a special country blessed by Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava). In fact, just above Lawudo is a large cliff known as the Dragkarma, or White Cliff, which is said to be the actual entrance to one of the secret valleys of Khumbu. To visit Lawudo Gompa is 11 to 13 days require flying Kathmandu to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu.

Recheck your Equipment after planning to Lawudo Gompa trekking, Make sure you have enough gear to be warm and comfortable but without overloading. Usually, you will experience warm days and cold nights depending on altitude and the time of year, For footwear, best walking boots with suitable ankle support that have been worn-in prior to the trek, and which are waterproof, warm socks, Gaiters for the winter season, loose casual trousers, Thermal Leggings, a Long skirt for women, trousers, and Waterproof trousers. Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrive international airport in Kathmandu and transport to selected hotel bit out of Thamel, 3*** categories on BB basis.
  • Day 02: Kathmandu Valley full day sightseeing with professional tour guide.
  • Day 03: Fly to Lukla early in the morning (2827 meters. 35 minutes) and trek to Phakding (2640 meters. 3 hours walking) stay overnight at Lodge.
  • Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 meters.6/7 hours walking) stay overnight at Lodge.
  • Day 05: Rest day in the same place for acclimatisation.
  • Day 06: Trek to Lawudo Gompa (3455 meters. 4 hours walking stay overnight at Lodge.
  • Day 07: Trek to Khumjung Sherpa Village (3780 meters. 6 hours walking stay overnight at Lodge.
  • Day 08: Trek to Tengboche (3867 meters. 5 hours walking) stay overnight at Lodge.
  • Day 09: Trek to Khumjung (3650 meters. 4/5 hours walking) stay overnight at Lodge.
  • Day 10: Trek down to Manjo (6 hours walking) stay overnight at Lodge.
  • Day 11: Trek back to Lukla (4 ½ hours walking) stay overnight at Lodge.
  • Day 12: Fly back to Kathmandu early in the morning (35 minutes) and stay overnight at hotel.
  • Day 13: Departure Day in your home country. we will provide you transport to international Tribhuvan airports.
