Since the terrain can be hard and the days long, hikers on these treks should be in good physical condition and have some previous mountain walking experience. Steep climbing may be involved, although it is never necessary to use ropes. Treks at this level can he arranged for periods of 16 to 21 days. Typically, a gradual ascent through a green river valley will lead you up to a number of high passes, where you will reach the altitude of 5416m. Tsum Valley is mingles the magnificent beauty of a Tibetan cultural trek of the powerful sacred Ganesh Himal pilgrimage safe and sound valley situated in northern Gorkha of Nepal. Manaslu and Tsum Valley Trekking routes have only recently has been released up and have unspoilt Tibetan cultural rich and extremely beauty villages, the Himalayan scenery breathtaking to explore. The Tsum Valley takes its name from the Tibetan word tsombo which means “vivid” and has also been described by Guru Rinpoche as “the holy hidden valley of happiness.

Manaslu circuit Tsum Valley Trek is tremendously rich in cultural assets. The valley is spread with Buddhist monasteries, shortens and mani walls. The longest mani walls over 250m are at Dzong and Phurpe. The valley preserves steps of the great Buddhist Yogi Chyuchin Milarepa and story about Guru Padmasambhava accumulation. The people here never slaughter animals, even as a sacrifice to the gods. The Tsum Valley is bounded by the Buddha Himal and Himal Chuli to the west, Ganesh Himal to the south, and Sringi Himal to the North. Tsum valley trek lies in Manaslu region.

The Manaslu circuit Tsum Valley Trek is starting by travelling by bus from Kathmandu to Arughat (600m) where the trekking begins in earnest. The path follows the raging Budhi Gandaki River along Soti Khola (710m), Maccha (930m), Jagat (1410m) and Eklelbhatti (1600m). After Ekelbhatti, the route heads northeast into the beautiful Tsum Valley heading for the village of MuGompa (3800m). This is the turnaround point and the route heads back down the Tsum Valley to rejoin the Manaslu Circuit Trek at the village of Deng (1800m). The 5 or 6 days spent in “hidden valley of happiness” is well worth the effort as it is a chance to leave the 21st century behind and visit monasteries that are over 100 years old and meet people of a unique Tibetan culture.

After Deng, the trek heads towards the climax of the trek being Larke Pass 5200m this pass offers beautiful high mountain views of the mighty Manaslu Range. After Larke Pass, it is all downhill but the trail parts are very steep and at times icy to walk on. But you can rely on our experienced guide and porters to get you through this ultimate challenge. The After pass you will join Annapurna Valley, Bhimdang, Tilche, Dharapani and bus to benshi Sahar- Kathmandu.

Equipment for Manaslu Tsum Valley Circuit Trek

Recheck your Equipment after planning to Manaslu Tsum Valley Circuit Trek. Make sure you have enough gear to be warm and comfortable but without overloading. Usually, you will experience warm days and cold nights depending on altitude and the time of year, For footwear, best walking boots with suitable ankle support that have been worn-in prior to the trek, and which are waterproof, warm socks, Gaiters for the winter season, loose casual trousers, Thermal Leggings, a Long skirt for women, trousers, and Waterproof trousers.
