The Royal Trek is one of the short and relatively easy treks in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The trek route was named after Prince Charles of the United Kingdom and his entourage, who explored this route in the early 1980s. The journey was part of a royal visit to Nepal and aimed to explore the natural beauty and cultural diversity. Prince Charles was accompanied by a large entourage, including officials and journalists, which helped popularize the trek and bring international attention to the region. The Royal Trek offers an excellent introduction to trekking in Nepal for beginners and those with limited time.

The Pokhara Royal Trekking Nepal, cherished by Prince Charles in 1981 before his marriage to Princess Diana, is the shortest and sweetest trek in the region. This five-day journey, affectionately dubbed the “Royal Trek” after the royal family’s adventure, offers a delightful hike with breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including Manaslu (8,156 m), Lamjung Himal (6,983 m), Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), and the entire Annapurna range.
The trek, ideal for all ages, takes you through beautiful villages and offers a rich cultural experience.
