Since the terrain can be hard and the days long, hikers on these treks should be in good physical condition and have some previous mountain walking experience. Steep climbing may be involved, although it is never necessary to use ropes. Treks at this level can he arranged for periods of 16 to 21 days. Typically, a gradual ascent through a green river valley will lead you up to a number of high passes, where you will reach the altitude of 5416m. KARBAKELI Eco Trek launched in the Nepalese tourism Markets on 18 May 2018. The KARBAKELI Eco Trekking Trail has newly opened poon hill and MOHARE  danda version, alternative Eco-friendly trail; explored by trekking agency associations of Nepal (TAAN), Nepal tourism board (NTB), and Nepal Mountaineering Associations (NMA) alliance with Local people of KARBAKELI village tourism deployment committee (KVTDC).

During the kARBAKELI Eco trek, you able to see all Annapurna region Mountain, Dhaulagiri 8,167 meters, Tukuche peak 6,920 m, Nill Giri 7,061 m, Annapurna South 7,219 m. And most gorge Beni Bazaar Valley. This area has inhabited Poon Magar, Tamang, Thakali, Damai, and more other ethnic groups. However, Poon Magar is the main indigenous group of the Karbakeli area, Magars have their own traditional culture and Costume, more Dominated by Magar Culture.

Magar people respected Karbakeli Baba as the Chief God on earth. Karbakeli hill has a beautiful temple situated at Annapurna Municipality Word No 8 KAPHAL  Danda; the KAPHAL  Danda also called “Ramchan Kulchan Danda” which rises 2,332 m altitude, the around Temple has prayer flags, Inside the temple has beautiful Colden color KARBAKELI baba statue.

The itinerary of Karbakeli Eco Trek is eight days from arrival to departure in an as same time frame as Ghorepani Poon hill trekking. The trails are a bit difficult compare with Poon Hill, but the view is such magnifications Himalayas and culturally rich place of Magar community.

  • Day 01: Drive to Pokhara by tourist bus 6 hours and overnight at Lake Side Pokhara,
  • Day 02: Drive to Birethanti 2 hours by car and trek to Ulleri 1960m. 4 hours, Overnight at Lodge
  • Day 03: Trek To Ghorepani 2860m 5 hours overnight at Lodge,
  • Day 04: visit Poon Hill 3210m. and trek to Karbakeli2332m via Phulbari, 5 hours overnight at KARBAKELI eco-community Lodge
  • Day 05: Trek to Baiseri 4 hours and bus to Pokhara via Beni, overnight at Lake site
  • Day 06: drive back to Kathmandu
