Equipment for Tilicho Lake Trekking

Equipment requires for Tilicho Lake Trekking is best walking boots with suitable ankle support that have been worn-in prior to the trek, and which are waterproof, warm socks, Gaiters for the winter season, Loose, casual trousers, Thermal Leggings, a Long skirt for women as an alternative to trousers, Waterproof trousers. For body Selection of T-shirts, and long sleeved shirts, preferably not cotton, Thermal shirt, warm shirt, possibly Fleece, Fleece jacket or warm wool jumper. Windproof, waterproof outer higher altitudes, Down jacket and sleeping bag (optional for cold nights & mornings; can be hired in Kathmandu cheaply) and for head and hand, Wool or fleece hat, or balaclava. Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrive international airport in Kathmandu and transport to selected hotel at Thamel, The hotel is centrally located in the Thamel area of Kathmandu which is renowned for its many restaurants, shops, bars, and nightclubs etc which cater for the tourists
  • Day 02: Kathmandu Valley full day sightseeing with professional tour guide
  • Day 03: Drive to Besisahar (823 Meters. 6 hours driving) by public bus and jeep to Chame (2715 Meters.. stay overnight at lodge
  • Day 04: Trek to Pisang (3132 Meters.. 6 hours walking) stay overnight at lodge
  • Day 05: Trek to Manang (3341 Meters.. 5 hours walking) stay overnight at lodge
  • Day 06: Rest day in the same place for acclimatisation
  • Day 08: Manang Trek to Khangsar (3734m) 5/6 hours walking) over night at the lodge
  • Day 09: Khangsar Trek to Tilicho Base Camp (4140m) 4/5 hours walking) over night at the lodge
  • Day 10: Early morning visit to Tilicho Lake 4919 meters and trek back to Chauri latter(3720 Meters.. 3/4 hours walking) stay overnight at lodge
  • Day 11: Trek to Thorong Phedi(3900 Meters.. 3 hours walking) stay overnight at lodge
  • Day 12: Trek early in the morning Thorong Pass (5416 Meters.. 8 hours walking) over night at Muktinath(3900 Meters.. ) stay overnight at lodge
  • Day 13: Trek to Jomsom 5 / 6 hours walking then overnight at Lodge
  • Day 14: Early morning fly back to Pokhara and rest day in Pokhara stay overnight at lodge
  • Day 15: Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus at 7:30 AM (200 km. 6/7 hours driving) and stay overnight at selected hotel in Kathmandu
  • Day 16: Departure to International Airport to fly your home country. we will provide you transport to international Tribhuvan airports
