Since the terrain can be hard and the days long, hikers on these treks should be in good physical condition and have some previous mountain walking experience. Typically, a gradual ascent through a green river valley will lead you up to a number of high passes, where you will reach the altitude of 5416m. Overview

Annapurna-Tilicho Pass Trek

Tilicho pass is a Difficult pass of Annapurna Region Trek; It is 4,919 meters altitude above sea level. Tilicho Lake is a lovely beauty ice lake that lies on the side of the Annapurna-Marsyandi valley.

Tilicho Peak is 7,134 meters high connecting with Nilgiri and Annapurna I. Also, the Mesokanto La pass associated with the Tilicho pass, the Pass is an exciting and exquisite route and technical pass and slender trails, mostly the down section from the Mesokanto La pass.

The best views from the pass are able to see Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, Nill Giri, Thapa peak, and Manaslu Himal.

Also, Tilicho pass trek discovers greenery pine forest at the beginning, charming villages, gorges Marsyandi valley river, green vegetation, natural harmony, wild animals, deer, Himalayan Thar, monals, Danphe, many species bird, and butterfly.

The best time of the month to pass the Tilicho-Mesokantola pass is in April, May, June, July, August, Sep, Oct month. If the good weather and less snow on the pass then leisurely but if new snowing then more difficult.

From Manang village, trails divide for Tilicho Lake and Annapurna Circuit. The circuit is the right side trails, and Tilicho lake is way up left the side to small Khangsar village. The Khangsar village reminds you of Tibetan vogue house construction.

There isn’t any tea house until reach to the Jomsom, for two night three days you’ve to have organized tent accommodations and own meals, however, after Jomsom all, the way tea house till the end of the trek.

  • Day 03: Pisang Trek to Manang (3540m) 5/6 hours walking) overnight at the lodge.
  • Day 04: Manang rest day for acclimatization hiking as you want,
  • Day 05: Manang Trek to Khangsar (3734m) 5/6 hours walking) overnight at the lodge.
  • Day 06: Khangsar Trek to Tilicho Base Camp (4140m) 5/6 hours walking) overnight at the lodge.
  • Day 07: Trek to Nama Phu 3510 miters after Meso Kanto La 5099 meters overnight camping
  • Day 08: Trek to Jomsom (2713m) 6/7 hours walking) overnight at the lodge.
  • Day 09: Jomsom to Pokhara 25 minutes by flight
  • Day 10: Rest day in Pokhara window shopping in the lakeside,
  • Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus 200 Kathmandu.
