I’m Nabin Kishor Rai, a professional trekking guide from Thulung Dudhkoshi-9, Solukhumbu, Nepal, in the Everest region. I have more than 9 years of professional experience guiding trekkers through the Nepalese Himalayas and hold a Government of Nepal Trekking Guide License (License No. 20879).

Growing up in Solukhumbu, I developed a strong connection with the mountains and Himalayan way of life. Over the years, my experience on mountain trails has given me a good understanding of different landscapes, weather conditions, altitude, trekking safety, local culture, and the challenges of Himalayan trekking.

I have guided trekkers on many of Nepal’s renowned trekking routes, including the Everest Base Camp, Everest Three Passes, Manaslu Circuit, Annapurna Circuit, Langtang Valley, and Annapurna Base Camp treks, as well as other remote trails and high passes throughout Nepal.

I enjoy meeting travelers from different parts of the world and sharing Nepal’s spectacular mountains, rich culture, traditions, and local way of life with them. I always take time to understand my guests’ experience, fitness level, and interests so I can provide a comfortable pace and the right support throughout the journey.

For me, being a trekking guide is about more than reaching the destination. It is about safety, teamwork, good communication, and creating a positive experience throughout the journey. Whether you are a first-time trekker or an experienced adventurer, I will do my best to make your time in the Himalayas safe, enjoyable, and memorable.
