The Langtang region was an amazing place to trek. His knowledge of the landscape and local culture, as well as his familiarity with everyone along the route, made him an excellent guide! A special moment was when he and some friends in Langtang played some traditional Tibetan songs on a Tibetan guitar. In the mountains, we had a porter named Dawa who was very nice and an absolute speed demon – a very nice young man with a generous heart. I was very pleased with the organization of the trip. Himal communicated with us prior to our arrival in Nepal, and we met at the office the day before the trek to review the equipment and gear.
