Everest Base Camp &Gokyo lake trek with Yakub

I traveled with a friend to Everest Base Camp and Chola Pass to the Gokyo Lakes and had an unforgettable experience. Yakub, our guide, became like a member of our family during our trip. Despite a long day of hiking, he ensured that we were always laughing. We were allowed to set our own pace on the trail, so we were able to walk at our own pace depending on how we felt at altitude. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget thanks to Yakub. It was a spectacular hike in and of itself! In spite of the fact that it was the end of the hiking season, the lodges were not fully occupied, but we still met a variety of interesting individuals.
