Nepal Wilderness Trekking Team offers another trek in Ruby Valley! Our all-time favorite guide Manoj Tamang led us on this 12-day cultural trek through Ruby Valley after we completed the Kanchenjunga trek last year. The Nepal Wilderness team arranged an itinerary tailored to us and discussed every detail with us before we began our journey. Our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating, making everything hassle-free so we could just enjoy the trek! We visited the Ruby Valley trek during the festival season, and every village included us in their celebrations. We were taught traditional Nepalese dances and were taught how to cook delicious Nepalese foods like roti and chapati. We were also invited into everyone’s home for a cup of tea or some local rakshi.

It was a great experience staying in homes along the way to Chalish and Khading villages. It was because we got to experience traditional village life in Nepal and meet so many beautiful people. There was so much generosity on the trek and everyone went above and beyond to ensure that we were enjoying ourselves and felt like part of the family. The scenery along the trek was breathtaking, with clear weather and numerous views of the Langtang and GANESH Himal mountain ranges. In addition to passing through a variety of landscapes, our trek in Ruby Valley (GANESH HIMAL BASE CAMP) was off the beaten track. As a result, we were able to enjoy the trek and incredible views without crowds. If you are looking for a true Nepalese trekking experience, I highly recommend the Ruby Valley trail.
