I’m Saugat Tamang (Santa Bahadur), a professional trekking guide from Khanibash-3, Dhading, Nepal. I grew up in the beautiful hills of Dhading, surrounded by mountain landscapes and rural communities, which developed my love for nature, the mountains, and Nepal’s rich cultural heritage.

I have been working professionally as a trekking guide since 2017, giving me many years of experience guiding travelers through Nepal’s diverse trekking regions. Over the years, I have guided on both popular and less-traveled routes, including the Manaslu Circuit, Annapurna, Langtang Valley, Everest, Kanchenjunga, Nar Phu Valley, Ruby Valley, and Ganesh Himal.

My experience on different trails has helped me develop a strong understanding of mountain terrain, local communities, changing weather conditions, altitude, and the practical challenges of trekking in the Himalayas. I enjoy guiding both first-time trekkers and experienced adventurers and always try to provide the right support and a comfortable pace for each guest.

As a proud member of the Tamang community, I especially enjoy sharing the culture, traditions, history, and everyday life of the mountain communities with my guests. For me, trekking is not only about beautiful landscapes but also about meeting local people and experiencing the authentic culture of Nepal.

I am known for my friendly nature, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety. I believe a good guide should be a responsible professional as well as a trusted companion on the trail.
