Your journey begins with a peaceful boat ride across Phewa Lake, one of Pokhara’s most iconic attractions. As you glide over the calm waters, enjoy reflections of the Annapurna range and the surrounding green hills.
After crossing the lake, begin a steady uphill hike to the World Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa). This hilltop stupa offers panoramic views of Pokhara Valley, Phewa Lake, and the Himalayan peaks including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli.
From the Peace Pagoda, continue your trek through forested ridges and quiet rural trails toward Pumdi Bhumdi (1,650m). The route passes through small settlements, terraced fields, and shaded woodland paths, offering a peaceful hiking experience close to nature.
After approximately 5 hours of walking, arrive at Pumdi Bhumdi and settle into a local guesthouse for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your ascent toward Panchase, one of the best viewpoint ridges in the Pokhara region. The trail climbs gradually through dense rhododendron and oak forests, with occasional clearings offering glimpses of snow-capped peaks.
As you gain altitude, the views become more expansive, stretching across the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Lamjung Himal on clear days. Panchase is also a culturally significant hilltop, known for its sacred forest and spiritual atmosphere.
Arrive at Open Heart Guest House and enjoy a quiet evening surrounded by mountain scenery and forest tranquility.
