8 DAYS EBC TREK – BEST TIME OF YEAR

There is a wide range of weather in the Himalayas, and the best trekking season is usually determined by the summer monsoon. trekkers often travel in the spring between February and March in order to avoid the wettest conditions. Wildflowers are in bloom and temperatures are at their most comfortable at this time of year.

Other trekkers may prefer to do the Everest Base Camp Trek in the autumn, between September and November. Perhaps this is the best time of year for crisp days and clear mountain views. Winter treks are also possible; while temperatures can be cold and trails can be covered in snow, there is undeniable appeal to experiencing the Everest Base Camp Trek without crowds.

During the summer, we recommend hiking the Everest Base Camp Trek. If your schedule only permits you to visit Nepal during the summer, Alpine Ramble Treks will be happy to arrange a proper Himalayan adventure on one of our many alternate routes.

Note: The weather can sometimes cause delays or cancellations of domestic flights between Kathmandu and Lukla. If this happens at any time of the year, Nepal Wilderness trekking Pvt. will work with you to make any alternative arrangements to minimize the interruption to your holiday.
