There is a wide range of weather in the Himalayas, and the best trekking season is usually determined by the summer monsoon. trekkers often travel in the spring between February and March in order to avoid the wettest conditions. Wildflowers are in bloom and temperatures are at their most comfortable at this time of year.

Other trekkers may prefer to do the Mt Everest Base Camp Trek in the autumn, between September and November. Perhaps this is the best time of year for crisp days and clear mountain views. Winter treks are also possible; while temperatures can be cold and trails can be covered in snow, there is an undeniable appeal to experiencing the Everest Base Camp Trek without crowds.
