Lukla airport is also known as Tenzing Hillary airport with a runway of 527m and situated at an elevation of 2845m and known as one of the most world dangerous airports. This airport is the main gateway to trek in the Everest region including Everest summiting or Peak climbing and carrying goods stuff, building materials to the local places in the Khumbu region. The places we visit in this region are Phakding, Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche, Thame, Gokyo, Gorekshep, Pheriche.

The peak season of trekking in the Everest region of Nepal are October-November and March-May, so it is better to have your seat booked before flying to the International airport of Kathmandu. Sharing a helicopter or sharing a jeep to Phaplu is the other option to trek to Everest.
